This is not your typical entry-level position. At Virtuoso Law, you’ll dive into criminal defense from day one, gaining real courtroom exposure and working on cases that matter.
As an Entry-Level Criminal Defense Attorney, you’ll have a unique opportunity to stand up for your clients, work alongside experienced attorneys, and sharpen your legal skills with hands-on experience and mentorship.
What We’re Looking For :
California Licensed Attorney : You’ve earned your JD and have passed the California Bar.
Passionate About Defense : You believe in the power of defense to give people a second chance, and you’re driven to make a difference.
Effective Communicator : Strong written and verbal skills to engage with clients, colleagues, and judges.
Quick Thinker : You’re strategic, resourceful, and ready to adapt in the fast-paced world of criminal law.
Key Responsibilities :
Be a Client Advocate : Conduct in-depth client interviews to gather details and build robust defense strategies.
Take the Lead in Court : Represent clients at various stages of their cases arraignments, pre-trials, and hearings under the mentorship of seasoned litigators.
Develop Game-Changing Defense Strategies : Perform legal research, draft motions, and assist in building comprehensive case strategies.
Collaborate with Top Attorneys : Work side-by-side with accomplished defense attorneys who are passionate about mentoring new talent.
Keep Clients Informed : Provide consistent, clear updates so clients feel supported every step of the way.
