LifeSouth Community Blood Centers is looking for an individual to join our team as a Receptionist in Jacksonville, FL . This position is responsible for registering blood donors and providing excellent customer service to all LifeSouth visitors.

Work Schedule : Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays & Fridays : 8 : 45am - 5 : 15pm and Wednesdays : 10 : 45am - 7 : 15pm

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to)

• Answer incoming telephone calls and transfer calls to the appropriate extension or relay messages
• Collect demographic information from donors and enter data into the computer system
• Print Single Donation Records (SDRs) and log donation information on donor registers
• Review donor record status reports and resolve registration discrepancies according to established guidelines
• Provide the highest level of customer service towards internal and external customers
• Greet donors and visitors and direct them to the appropriate area in the facility
• May work holidays

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Ability to work both independently and as a team member
• Ability to organize and complete multiple assignments with precision and quick turnaround
• Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint
• Ability to follow moderately complex oral and written instructions
• One to three months of related experience preferred
• Experience with records management, business telephone systems, data entry and customer service preferred

This is a full-time position. Starting salary range is $13.50 - $14.85 an hour. Criminal background check and drug screen required upon conditional offer of hire.
