Travel in company vehicles from the yard to job sites across the state and occasionally out-of-state. Company-covered hotel accommodation and a $50 / day per diem for days spent out of town. Opportunities for overtime, hands-on training with specialized equipment, and advancement into roles involving software systems and team leadership. Spot bonuses for exceptional performance, with open and approachable management. Ability to lift and pull over 50 lbs., and perform physically demanding tasks involving sitting, bending, and manual labor for extended periods. Able to work in extreme heat and cold temperatures for extended periods. Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license. Fluent in English and Spanish a plus, but not required. Join the team at Select Mat Services as a Field Operations Associate (FOA) and play a critical role in the installation and removal of composite mats across the South Texas region and beyond. This position offers travel opportunities, growth potential, and a chance to be part of a high-performing crew in the dynamic matting industry.
Key Responsibilities :
- Assist in the installation and removal of composite mats, ensuring secure placement using locking pins to prevent movement under heavy loads.
- Transport tools and materials across the job site.
- Direct truck drivers and support the crew lead with on-site operations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including the removal of job site trash.
- Strive for operational efficiency by assisting the equipment operator to minimize unnecessary interruptions.
