Job Responsibilities :
- Coordinate and oversee construction projects within the hospital and healthcare sector, ensuring adherence to timelines and budgets.
- Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to facilitate effective communication and project execution.
- Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for stakeholders, highlighting any potential issues and proposing solutions.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations, as well as industry standards.
- Assist in the procurement of materials and services, negotiating contracts and managing vendor relationships.
- Conduct site visits to assess project status and ensure quality control throughout the construction process.
- Facilitate meetings with project teams and stakeholders to discuss project updates, challenges, and next steps.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including contracts, change orders, and correspondence.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience in project coordination within the construction industry, preferably in hospital or healthcare settings.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, project management methodologies, and relevant regulations.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on teamwork and collaboration.
- Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements.
- Certification in Project Management (PMP) or similar is a plus.
