Position Purpose :

The Developer will join a high-velocity data engineering team, leveraging Python, SQL, and BigQuery expertise to manage large datasets and extract insights.

They will integrate systems via Web APIs, communicate effectively with stakeholders, and independently navigate complex ecosystems.

Detail-oriented and quick to learn, the Developer will contribute significantly to the team's data-driven decision-making process.

Helpful skills like data wrangling and machine learning understanding are a plus in this agile and innovative role.

Key Responsibilities :

  • 20% Capture marketing campaign requirements through close collaboration with marketing partners
  • 40% Provide marketing support, including set-up of campaigns for small to medium size campaigns
  • 40% Design, test and execute campaigns using product- and activity-based purchase triggers, segment and personalization rules to support business goals

Direct Manager / Direct Reports :

  • Position reports to the Data and Engineering Manager
  • No direct reports

Travel Requirements :

Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements :

Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions :

Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications :

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.
  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Proficiency in Python, SQL, and BigQuery : Essential for data manipulation, analysis, and working with large datasets.
  • Knowledge of Data Analytics : Important for interpreting data and extracting meaningful insights.
  • Familiarity with Web APIs : Necessary for system integrations and automating data flows between different systems.
  • Communication Skills : Essential for collaborating with team members and stakeholders.
  • Self Directed : Ability to dig in and learn a complex ecosystem and determine the right next steps.
  • Data Wrangling : Helps in cleaning and preparing data for analysis.
  • Project Management : Valuable for overseeing data projects and ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Understanding of Machine Learning : Can be beneficial for predictive modeling and analysis.

Minimum Education :

The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a associate's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.

Minimum Years of Work Experience :

Competencies :

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to communicate analytical information in clear, concise presentations
  • Experienced in CRM execution and management, preferably in a retail context
  • Experienced in the application of segmentation and predictive modeling
  • Strong analytical skills
  • skilled in utilizing Unica and other CRM software
  • Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Access
