Medical Sonography Lab Instructor
The School of Medical Imaging and Therapeutics is seeking a Medical Sonography Lab Instructor to deliver high quality learning experiences and education for students in the General Diagnostic Medical Sonography program's labs.
The selected candidate will be responsible for teaching in the DMS general's scanning lab courses to undergraduate students, focusing on abdominal, thyroid, breast, musculoskeletal, and OB / GYN sonography.
The role involves delivering laboratory instruction, providing feedback to students on protocols, teaching scanning techniques, and collaborating with colleagues to manage lab activities.
The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's Degree, current ARDMS credentials in both Abdomen and OB / GYN, and a minimum of 5 years of work experience in General sonography.
Teaching experience in a CAAHEP accredited program is preferred. Additionally, a commitment to student success, excellent organizational and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders are required.
