The HR Generalist / Manager is responsible for all aspects of managing the Human Resources function, including full-cycle recruiting, benefit administration, employee relations, training, performance management, onboarding, policy implementation, unemployment and lay-offs, leaves, compensation, and special projects.
Additional responsibility includes the accurate and timely payroll processing in accordance with company policies and procedures and government legal requirements.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.
- Develops, communicates, interprets, and administers all human resources policies, procedures, and programs.
- Processes weekly, semi-monthly, and off-cycles payroll, addresses concerns and ensures the payrolls are handled effectively and timely.
- Verifies payroll information from all locations for accuracy and enters all payroll data into the computerized system.
- Writes up and enters any adjustments to payroll, such as garnishments, deductions, wage changes, bonus, commission, etc.

- Manages and oversees the recruiting process for all level of candidates. Ensures positions are posted according to procedure, reviews resumes and applications and shares with the management staff, coordinates interview schedules.
- Ensures the health and welfare benefit plans are updated and changes are communicated with employees annually. Responds to questions and issues and forwards inquiries to the third-party administrator as necessary.
Works with management and insurance brokers, ensuring the best option for the company and the employees.
- Resolves employee relations issues to include conflict resolution, harassment investigations, wage complaints, employee disputes, attendance issues and general questions.
- Administers performance review program to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within organization.
- Manages the termination process, ensures the correct data has been gathered and that company policies have been followed.
Prepares employee separation notices and related documentation, and conducts exit interviews to determine reasons behind separations.
Attends unemployment hearings as necessary.
- Responsible for the creation and timely filing of compliance reports and documents including, but not limited to, EEO, W2, and assists with OSHA 300.
- Participates in compensation surveys, develops new wage scales as necessary and develops new position descriptions.
- Maintains knowledge of legal requirements and government reporting regulations affecting human resources and payroll functions and ensures policies, procedures, and reporting are in compliance.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business, or Management and four to six years related experience and / or training;
or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Possesses superb written and spoken communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to lead / influence people and groups over whom there is no direct authority.
- Ability to handle sensitive, moderately complex and confidential information.
- Flexibility, good judgment, strong problem-solving skills and is detail oriented.
- Advanced knowledge of computer programs including Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
- HR Certification (e.g. PHR / SPHR, SHRM-CP / SHRM-SCP).
- Experience with payroll processing, applicant tracking, and ERP systems (ADP Workforce Now, Clear Company, Microsoft Navision, respectively).

TRAVEL : 10%
