OSAA Heat Illness prevention Areas of Responsibility :
Assist at all practices and games.
Assist in managing game operations.
Cooperate and collaborate with other coaching staff to establish and implement the shared program philosophy, skills and techniques to be taught.
Cooperates and communicates respectfully to various stakeholders (parents, school district staff, media, etc.)
Supervise bus trips, locker room and training facilities as well as athlete behavior.
Maintain sportsmanship and respect toward other teams, coaches, bus drivers and community members.
Assists in keeping an accurate record of equipment and uniform inventory as well as reporting equipment that is in need of repair or replacement.
Developing relationships with community members and sponsors.
Cooperates in helping the booster club and other organizations that support the success of the athletics department.
Follows all school district policies and procedures.
Understands and follows rules and regulations set forth by all governing agencies : NFHS, OSAA, Coquille School District and league SOPs.
Participates in training and other activities deemed mandatory by the school district to improve coaching performance and enhance student performance, health and safety.
Attends athletic department meetings when required
