About thisrole :

Wells Fargo is seeking anAssociate Branch Manager (SAFE) for National Branch Network as partof the Consumer Small and Business Banking division.

AssociateBranch managers are responsible for leading managing and developinga diverse team of highperforming direct reports creating a culturethat fosters engagement and generates commitment and accountabilityto business outcomes.

Successful branch managers are able to lead ahighly defined customer engagement process coaching to specificbehaviors that lead to an enhanced customer experience and drivegrowth of the business while also leading accountability foroperational excellence.

This involves executing policies andprocedures in alignment with applicable regulations as well asaudit and escalation procedures and managing the allocation ofpeople and financial resources for the branch.

As an AssociateBranch Manager you will also have the opportunity to directly meetcustomer needs by assisting with transactions as needed allowingyou to serve as a role model to your team in delivering anexceptional customer experience focused on buildingrelationships.

In this role youwill :

Coach develop and build ahigh performing team to execute on business strategies achieveresults and drive growth of the business;

This includes coachingbankers to engage customers to understand their needs and workproactively to build relationships and help customers succeedfinancially

  • Resolve tactical issues regardingthe customer and employee experience risk and growth of thebusiness to meet Branch Network businessobjectives
  • Identify opportunities for makingbanking easier for customers through education and demonstration ofavailable digital options to support adoption and customerconvenience
  • Lead the branch while engagingstakeholders peers and internal partners in collaborating andbuilding strong partnerships to deliver a customercentricexperience
  • Responsible for selection evaluationand development of staff
  • This SAFE position hascustomer contact and job duties which may include theoffering / negotiating of terms and / or taking an application for adwelling secured transaction.

As such this position requirescompliance with the S.A.F.E. Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and allrelated regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meetingall such requirements including acceptable background investigationresults.

Individuals in a SAFE position also must meet the LoanOriginator requirements under Regulation Z (LO) outlined in the jobexpectations below

RequiredQualifications :

  • 2 years ofbanking financial services or Branch Network experience orequivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of thefollowing : work experience training military experienceeducation
  • 1 years of leadershipexperience

DesiredQualifications :

  • Leadershipexperience including coaching training developing inspiring andbuilding a high performing team where adaptability collaborationand accountability to performance are critical tosuccess
  • Ability to analyze performanceunderstand strengths and opportunities and execute a plan thatempowers employees to achieve business objectives
  • Exercise independent judgement and criticalthinking skills to manage time prioritize and delegate tasks in acomplex fastpaced environment
  • Extensiveexperience in asking questions and identifying complex financialneeds in order to provide relevant options tocustomers
  • Experience and knowledge in coachingacross customer segments including affluent high net worth andsmall business
  • Experience building andmaintaining effective relationships with customers internalpartners and within the community
  • Knowledge andunderstanding of banking industry laws and regulations compliancecontrols risk management and lossprevention
  • Ability to interact with integrityand professionalism with customers andemployees
  • Ability to lead a team to influenceeducate and connect customers to technology and share the value ofdigital banking
  • Relevant military experienceincluding working with military protocol and instructions enlistedevaluations officer / leadership reporting or military experienceworking in personnel benefits management processing militarypersonnel orders or transitions wartime readiness operations humanresources or militaryrecruiting

JobExpectations :

  • Ability to work aschedule that may include most Saturdays
  • Thisposition requires SAFE registration at the time of employment.Wells Fargo will initiate the SAFE registration process immediatelyafter your employment start date.

The Nationwide Mortgage LicensingSystem (NMLS) website ( ) provides the MU4R questions andregistration required for employment in this position.

Individualsin Loan Originator (LO) positions must meet the Consumer FinancialProtection Bureau qualification requirements and comply withrelated Wells Fargo policies.

The LO qualification requirementsinclude meeting applicable financial responsibility charactergeneral financial fitness and criminal background standards.

Acurrent credit report will be used to assess your financialresponsibility and credit fitness however a credit score is notincluded as part of the evaluation.

Successful candidates must alsomeet ongoing regulatory requirements including additional screeningif necessary
