This position is on our hybrid schedule in our New Rochelle office and requires some travel as needed.

The following information aims to provide potential candidates with a better understanding of the requirements for this role.

Position Purpose : As Sales and Events Coordinator, you will support our sales team with sales-related responsibilities and help our events team plan, manage, and execute corporate events.

Job Responsibilities :

Contribute to the planning and execution of internal corporate events, including, but not limited to communications; invitation creation, testing and distribution;

manage travel manifests and coordinate travel as necessary; attendee registration; on-site staffing and support; post-event tasks supporting debriefs.

Responsible for administrative tasks, e.g., manage, review, and reconcile reports (RSVP, attendees, registration, meal planning and tracking, etc.

managing event supplies and shipping; and production tasks of event materials.

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders and events team on event data and analyses, as well as assist in the development and reconciliation of event budgets.
  • Assist the Sales leadership team in following up with sales rep requests and needed tools. This includes correlations, custom sales promotional pieces, requests for product information, ordering sample products, maintaining Wins lists, creating sales micro-sites, updating rep directories and face charts.
  • Coordinate planning and distribution of key catalogs and other marketing collateral to the Sales and Professional Development departments.
  • Act as central office resource to support sales team with questions and needs : sample requests, documents, codes, etc.
  • Facilitate the onboarding of new sales reps.
  • Assist Product Managers in developing key sales tools for national use and state-specific use : sample and pilot order forms, visual packing slips, component lists.
  • Work with Production team to create folders and upload files for access on Benchmark Universe (Benchmark Education’s digital platform).

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills :

  • 3+ years of experience in meeting planning or sales support.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive, self-sufficient, resourceful, problem solver and motivated with a strong sense of time management, prioritization, and ability to execute against deliverables in a fast-paced environment.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with a strength in project and data management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite, especially Excel and PowerPoint (i.e., basic formatting), Word, SmartSheet.
  • Willingness to be a team player and consistently interact with peers, partners, management, relationship managers and clients.
  • Must be able to tackle any task, troubleshoot and exemplify a positive attitude and commitment to success.
  • Requires occasional late nights, as well as some travel.

Salary range : $50,000-$55,000

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the expected salary range for the position. The base salary offered may depend on a variety of factors such as geographic location, experience, education, and skill level.
