Instructional Designer

Our large Financial Services client is undergoing a major transformation within their Regulatory Affairs division, impacting multiple areas across the organization.

To support this initiative, they are seeking a team of four Senior Instructional Designers to play a key role in addressing these changes.

The team will be responsible for understanding the scope of the transformation, developing comprehensive training strategies and roadmaps, conducting needs assessments, and crafting detailed training plans.

They will collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) to create targeted content and design high-quality, hybrid learning solutions that resonate with different parts of the organization.

The majority of the training (90%) will be delivered as eLearning, primarily developed in Articulate 360 (with a strong focus on Rise), and will leverage tools from Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro for multimedia integration.

The remaining 10% will consist of virtual instructor-led training (vILT). These learning solutions will need to communicate consistent themes tailored to the specific needs of various divisions, ensuring alignment with regulatory objectives.

Additionally, there may be opportunities for the consultants to deliver vILT sessions during the project.

Duration : 3 years

Hours : 40 hours per week with some flexibility in the working hours

Location : Virtual

Experience Required :

• A degree in Instructional Technologies, Education, Organizational Development, or equivalent professional experience
• Deep knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design best practices, and current trends in learning and development.
• 15+ years of experience in learning strategy, scoping, training plan development, content development, and the design and delivery of eLearning and vILT for large corporate clients
• Strong background in Change Management and Project Management
• Extensive experience in the Financial Services industry, ideally within Risk and / or Regulatory Compliance.
• Experience with Articulate 360 (specifically Rise) and proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro.

The client will provide tool licenses and necessary hardware.

• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Exceptional rapport-building skills when working with SMEs and the ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders across all levels of the business.
• Must be able to screenshare excellent samples during a Zoom / MS Teams interview (if requested).
• Background check is required for selected consultants.

The pay range for this is $65.00 to $70.00 per hour W2. Individual pay is determined by a number of factors, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, relevant education, certifications and specific work location.
