Paramount Logistics is a licensed / US DOT certified Motor Carrier. We are affiliated with all major logistics entities, such as Steamship Lines, Long Beach and Los Angeles harbors, and CFS facilities.
We offer full import & export drayage transportation solutions for containerized cargo arriving to or departing from Los Angeles & Long Beach ports.
Daily duty :
- Operate a fleet of 20-30 trucks and drivers daily
- Complete oversight of daily work and driver schedule
- Plan and route drivers effectively
- Assist drivers with issues on the road or at the port
- Monitor the shipment real-time after discharged
- Optimize route and operational metrics to ultimately improve performance and profitability
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements :
Basic computer skills (E-mail, Web browsing, Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word)
Fluency in English (Verbal & Written), Chinese (Mandarin / Cantonese) is a plus
Excellence multi-task simultaneously with troubleshooting ability
Minimum 1 year in transportation management experience in the trucking industry
