What You’ll Do
As a Maintenance Planning Supervisor, you will ensure the efficient and effective execution and planning of major and minor outages within the plant(s).
This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining high standards and procedures for work planning and scheduling that involves regular communication and coordination with Operations for the execution of weekly work schedules and larger outages.
Other duties include :
- Working with and coordinating contractors necessary for the successful completion of work tasks.
- Coordinate all planned maintenance outages with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain and prioritize the outage schedule and area backlogs.
- Organize outage preparation work and facilitate outage planning.
- Manage the reliability outage database and collaborate closely with the Reliability Group.
- Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs) for complex maintenance activities
- Utilize IPL Scheduling tools and processes.
- Support business improvement initiatives and ensure participation across all areas of responsibility.
- Enhance plant reliability through the disciplined application of Daily Management System (DMS) principles, focusing on planning and scheduling quality, and recording work history and effective communication between Maintenance and
- Facilitate DMS meetings and ensure adherence to daily and weekly agendas.
- Ensure compliance with Company HSE Performance Standards, relevant acts, and regulations.
- Embody and promote IPL Corporate Values
- Maintain maintenance and operating areas to 5S standards.
- Develop maintenance execution tools.
- Continuously improve processes, systems, and methodologies.
Requirements :
- 10+ years’ experience in a plant-based role (preferably in chemical manufacturing) is preferred but not essential.
- Extensive technical expertise with a focus on sustainable and cost-effective maintenance solutions
- Proficient in SAP.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and oral) with proven ability to coach, educate, and motivate.
- Must be able to successfully obtain a TWIC card.
- Must be able to work overtime
