Description
The Legal Administrative Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical support to attorneys. Responsible for Rule 16 requests;
maintaining calendars, scanning and copying documents; processing mail, and tracking case communications and deadlines.
This position operates on a five-day work week (Monday-Friday).
Target Hiring Range : $26.00 - $28.13 USD Hourly
Total Base Pay Range : 22.60 28.13 33.65 USD Hourly
Compensation will be determined based on education, experience, and skills.

Essential Duties :
- Provides administrative support including researching information; provide technical support, multiple email distributions, heavy volume including processing EOAs / Axon and providing related support as requested.
- Responds to attorney requests. Electronically files court documents on assigned systems.
- Performs basic office duties, such as copying, filing, faxing, typing standard documents, preparing, sorting, and distributing mail, and entering data.
Answers phone calls, responds to inquiries, and makes appropriate referrals.
- Follow established guidelines / processes to sort, organize, and archive electronic and physical files.
- Tracks status of cases and follows proper chronological steps for service of process, statutory requirements, and case filings.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimal Qualifications :
- High School Diploma or GED and
- 2 years of work-related experience.
- Or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Additional Information :
- Offer of employment contingent on upon successful completion of criminal history, MVR check and references.
