Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia , a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking an energetic and team-oriented Infectious Disease Medical Director .

We are a growing multi-specialty group affiliated with Sequoia Hospital.

This practice is primarily inpatient with the opportunity / expectation of maintaining and growing an outpatient practice.

Practice Highlights :

• Includes Medical Directorship of antibiotic stewardship and infection control

Compensation Range : $250,000 - $399,900 / Year

Responsibilities

Team Collaboration :

• Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.
• Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.
• Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

Quality Improvement :

• Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.
• Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.
• Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

Compliance :

• Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.
• Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.
• Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

Continuous Learning :

• Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.
• Participate in ongoing medical education and training.
• Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

Qualifications

• A valid and unrestricted California medical license
• Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)
• Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

Pay Range : $120.19 - $192.25 / hour
