Job Description Summary :
Assist in the management of multiple projects while providing advice to the Project Manager. Help coordinate projects, schedules, and track the progress of projects and report their results.
Salary Range : $85-110k per year
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Help oversee a construction project from start to finish
- Manage day-to-day project activities including the POD and time sheets
- Assist in project planning, budgeting, and identification of resources needed
- Work with project manager to ensure understanding of all project activities, schedules and deliverables
- Help to manage client responsibilities and expectations
- Work with management to develop the objectives / goals of each member and assign individual responsibilities
- Ensure that construction activities move according to pre-determined schedule
- Monitor the progress of the construction activities on a regular basis
- Effective time management and logical decision-making ability
Qualifications
- Ability to multitask and maintain effectiveness with multiple priorities
- Professional demeanor; remain calm and emotionally controlled under pressure
- Ability to follow directions and take initiative when required
- Excellent communication, accounting and organizational skills
- Familiar with Microsoft Office and Timberline
- A basic to good understanding of construction means and methods
- Basic understanding / proficiency with spreadsheets, Email and other software used in the construction industry.
- Completed OSHA ET&D Training

Education and / or Work Experience :
At least one of the following :
- Degree in Engineering / Construction Management
- Construction Management with 1-2 years of experience with a commercial and / or Industrial general contractor;
- 2+ years of directly related experience with no degree
