Duration : 6+ Months (Strong Possible Extension)
B shift : Friday - Sunday 6am - 6 : 30pm (Several shifts available)
Responsibilities :
- Manufacture, assemble, and test New Glenn (GS1) First Stage & Second Stage structure.
- Set up new production work areas, including tooling and equipment.
- Assist with the transition from development to production, including first articles.
- Perform second party verifications and hardware inspections to engineering models, drawings, specifications, and written procedures.
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and correct malfunctions by modification, rework, repair, and / or maintenance.
- Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions for recurrence control.
- Operate various material handling equipment including forklifts, overhead cranes, aerial lifts, flight vehicle and subassembly transportation equipment, truck-trailer combinations, and other ground support equipment as required.
- Set up and operate a wide range of precision calibrated tools including torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, laser tracker, height gauges, and optical measuring instruments.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement projects for area safety and efficiency.
- Perform routine maintenance functions such as daily clean-up of work areas to support 5S, FOD, and ESD.
- Ability to work off-shift, extended overtime, and weekends if / when vital.
- Other duties as assigned or otherwise beneficial to fulfilling the mission and vision.

Qualifications :
- 5 to 10 years of experience in aerospace manufacturing & aerospace structures (Sheetmetal).
- Experience in Drilling Aluminum, Composite & Titanium structures.
- Experience in at least one of the following is required : Heavy (Primary Structures drilling experience) or (Secondary Structures drilling experience).
- Ability to interpret engineering models, drawings, specifications, understand written work instructions, and test procedures.
- Basic digital literacy such as Windows, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Ability to climb ladders / stairs and work in small, restricted areas.
- Ability to work at heights on work stands and in lifts.
- Ability to perform repetitive work, including lifting items up to 35lbs.
- Must be a . citizen or national, . permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the . as a refugee or granted asylum.
Desired :
- Industry certification, trade school training, and / or degree in a related field or (Airframe License).
- Proven success as a hands-on technical leader.
- Ability to work optimally with a strong work ethic and close attention to detail in a fast-paced dynamic team environment with rapidly changing roles and responsibilities.
