This position works directly with the Logistics Manager to ensure delivery of manufactured and finished building products (doors, frames, and hardware).
This opportunity requires an individual to communicate effectively with jobsite customers as well as other construction trades.
Primarily serving the Central Indiana market. The individual is expected to exhibit the core values of the company - to be accountable, relationship driven, solutions focused, and striving for excellence.
Job Requirements
- 5 years truck driving experience strongly preferred
- Fork lift certified desired but not required
- DOT medical card (or the ability to get a DOT medical card)
- Knowledge of DOT Standards
- Valid drivers license and clean driving record
- Follow all OSHA and company safety standards and procedures
- Ability to lift heavy material, up to 125 lbs.
- Must be able to lift, carry, push, climb, balance, kneel, reach
- Be able to drive a 26 foot straight bed truck (manual transmission)

Position Reports To : Logistics Manager
Mission : The mission for this role is to work directly with the Logistics Manager to ensure delivery of manufactured and finished building products (DFH) to our residential and commercial / multi-family customers.
Responsibilities
- Carry out routine vehicle checks
- Loading and unloading of trucks (by hand or fork lift), as needed
- Make sure load is correctly placed and secure
- Safely operate 26 foot straight bed truck (manual transmission)
- Effectively maneuver truck in and out of jobsites and loading docks
- Maintain required company paperwork
- Maintain and keep clean your assigned vehicle
- Effective communication with customers and team members
- Assist in the warehouse and production areas, as needed
Expected Outcomes
- 98% of on time delivery.
- 98% of accurate delivery paperwork.
