Public Works Superintendent

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate the activities and operations of construction projects
• Monitor project progress and adapt work as necessary to ensure project completion on time and within budget
• Ensure that all safety regulations and standards are adhered to during the construction process
• Coordinate and liaise with the project stakeholders to ensure the successful completion of the project
• Monitor and report on the progress of each project and take corrective action as needed
• Track project costs and performance metrics and analyze variances

Qualifications

• At least 5 years of experience on relative commercial builds
• Thorough knowledge of construction materials, methods, and best practices
• Excellent knowledge of safety control and regulations
• Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
• Proficient in project management software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, etc.)
