Job Summary :
HCA Midwest Health is seeking an outpatient only, general or fellowship trained neurologist, to join the neurosciences team based in Overland Park, KS.
Qualified Candidates :
- Exclusive outpatient-only practice setting
- Ability to practice in a subspecialty in the context of a general neurology practice
- Candidates with neurophysiology, epilepsy or movement disorder subspecialty interests are encouraged to apply- subspecialty not required
- Movement disorder providers will have the opportunity for collaboration with functional neurosurgeons
- Epilepsy provider will have the opportunity to work at a level 4 epilepsy center- anticipate volume for 60% epilepsy-focused
- Call will be 1 : 3 or better, limited to practice call only, answering service supports night coverage
- Must be eligible for medical licensure in the state of Kansas
- Board certified or board eligible in neurology

- The hospital has recently opened an unprecedented $65 million Neuroscience and Orthopedic Center which will allow the facility to further advance high-quality neuroscience and orthopedic care.
- HCA Midwest Health Neurosciences Service Line is comprised of 13 neurologists with expertise in movement disorder, clinical neurophysiology, multiple sclerosis, and migraine subspecialties.
The neurologists are vital to our care delivery team, focused on the inpatient and outpatient settings, further enhanced by 6+ advanced practice providers and a team of stroke coordinators.
The service line also includes 14 neurosurgeons with a variety of subspecialty interests within the context of a general neurosurgery practice.
- Our program includes one comprehensive stroke center with four primary stroke centers positioned across the South Kansas City corridor.
