We are currently seeking qualified board-certified Family Medicine Nurse Practitioners to join our group.

JOB SUMMARY :
The Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation, and treatment of care for patients under the supervision of a licensed physician.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Outpatient medical consultation services under supervision of a physician in our medical office.
- Evaluating, diagnosing, and treating new and existing patient’s medical conditions.
- Conducting follow-up patient care.
- Ordering and interpreting lab, radiology, and other diagnostic study results.
- Prescribing and referring patients for consultations when appropriate.
- Answering emergency telephone calls after hours and weekends on a rotating schedule.
- Administer and order drugs for patients.
- Complete all notes / tasks in patient’s EMR account indicating patient status and treatment procedures performed.
- Perform patient physicals.
- Providing health education to patients and families.
- Supervising / coordinating the activities of patient care and support staff within the clinic.
- Performs other duties as assigned in accordance with a nurse protocol agreement.
QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :
- Master’s in Nursing
- Certified Family Nurse Practitioner
- Current APRN licensure in Georgia
- Current Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) registration
- Clinical experience in Family Practice preferred
