About the Role :

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Project Cost Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in the application of accounting principles, manage financial records, and prepare comprehensive reports.

This role requires a solid understanding of accounting practices, with opportunities to handle increasingly complex tasks as experience grows.

ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Accounting Support : Assist in applying accounting principles to classify, record, and summarize

financial data.

• Record Management : Maintain accurate financial records by compiling and documenting transactions.
• Report Finalization : Finalize accounting reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant

standards and regulations.

Data Analysis : Study and analyze accounting records to prepare detailed financial statements and

reports.

Collaboration : Work closely with project managers and other stakeholders to provide financial insights

and support project budgeting.

Audit Preparation : Assist in preparing for audits by providing necessary documentation and

explanations of financial records.

Continuous Improvement : Identify opportunities for improving processes and efficiency within the

accounting function.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

• Education : Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience : 1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance; experience in project accounting is a plus.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge : Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Analytical Skills : Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial data and prepare reports.
• Attention to Detail : Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting.
• Communication : Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex

information clearly.

Preferred Skills

• CPA or other relevant certifications is a plus.
• Experience in the telecommunication sector.
