Job Description
- Work with customers to select specify and qualify products to customer and industry specifications within industrial commercial university research construction manufacturing gas exploration biotech power and chemical / petrochemical industries.
- Write edit and review / approve documentation to support design changes with the ability to work from general instructions shop or CAD drawings fluid system schematics P&IDs blueprints or diagrams.
- Interface with sales team to provide technical support as needed including quotes and orders. Will involve customer site activities within company territory.
- Actively engage with continuous improvement education / training and professional / personal development in alignment with company programs.
Use technology to streamline and improve work processes.
Qualifications
Education and Experience :
- Bachelor’s degree in chemical mechanical or related engineering discipline is required.
- 2 years experience in fabricating assembly or manufacturing is preferred.
- Extensive SolidWorks experience.
Knowledge Skills and Abilities :
- Skilled in interpreting and understanding customer applications in order to develop P&ID and fluid schematics.
- Ability to learn the features and benefits of multiple product families and related manufacturing processes.
- Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities work in a dynamic team environment and use a variety of systems and quality processes to manage complex and changing requirements.
- Proficiency with MSOffice Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook etc.)
- Must be able to pass background checks and drug testing onsite as required by customers on customer visits.
