Position Summary
Phoenix Childrenâ€s is looking for an experienced clinical manager who will be responsible for Cath Lab and IR. The ideal candidate will have experience in either IR, Cath Lab or a high intensity procedural environment.
OR experience will be a huge plus. Must have a minimum of 3+ years of leadership / manager experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Must be able to manage multiple priorities simultaneously; work closely with leadership teams to identify opportunities for improvement within the unit, and to work across organizational lines to optimize productivity and provide outstanding care.
Position does require BSN.

This position manages, evaluates and supervises operational functions and activities of an assigned area by guiding and supporting staff.
The Manager, Clinical Service also serves as a liaison with other departments to plan, implement, communicate, evaluate and coordinate patient care operations across the enterprise, while also facilitating quick resolution of issues to ensure excellence in a family centered care environment.
Education
- Bachelorâ€s in Nursing. (Required)
- Masterâ€s degree in related field. (Preferred)
Experience
Five years of experience in the specialty area or with a pediatric patient population to include leadership and / or supervisory responsibilities. (Required)
Certifications
- Current AZ RN license or an RN license from a compact state with multistate privileges or the ability to establish licensure to Arizona law prior to start date. (Required)
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association. (Required)
- PALS certification from the American Heart Association within one year of hire. (Preferred)
- National nursing or related certification ( CPN, CCRN, CNML) (Preferred)
Special Skills
- Analytical and statistical skills necessary to develop and monitor unit operating and personnel budgets. (Required)
- Demonstrates critical thinking and problem solving abilities in order to resolve complex clinical, systems and personnel problems and issues which affect the unit and inpatient departments (Required)

- Must be able to assume 24-hour accountability for unit coverage. (Required)
