A premier General Contractor in Metro Detroit is looking to add a Project Manager due to an excellent backlog. They have a 50+ year history in the area with tons of repeat work and are on track to double in size by 2027.
They do a variety of work including Multifamily, Commercial, Retail, and Office space and are looking for future leaders within their organization.
They have an excellent retention rate year over year and look for people who want to grow with them.
Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of multifamily and commercial ground-up construction projects from initiation to completion
- Coordinate and manage subcontractors, vendors, and on-site personnel to ensure project milestones are met
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and quality standards
- Communicate regularly with owner / developer to provide updates on project progress and address any concerns or issues
- Implement and enforce safety protocols and regulatory compliance measures on the construction site
- Resolve any conflicts or obstacles that arise during the construction process to keep the project on track and within budget
Qualifications
- 5+ years of Project Management experience at a Commercial General Contractor
- Ground-Up Multifamily projects are a huge plus
- Bachelor Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or other related degree is preferred
- Procore or other construction software
- Successful track record running projects valued at $10M+
