About the role :
eBay is seeking a dedicated and dynamic product manager to drive product strategy and execution for eBay’s Seller Capital China program.
This role will partner cross-functionally with engineering, analytics, marketing, design, research, communications, and customer service.
The ideal candidate will have a consistent track record of developing thorough long-term product strategies and robust execution of the strategy with operational excellence.
The candidate should also have a strong background in managing P&L, partner negotiations, and partner relationship management.
As this role requires close partnership with CN third-party entities, CN sellers, and central teams, we require business proficient written and verbal fluency in Chinese and English, and accommodation to Pacific Time and China Standard Time zones.
Experiences in small business financial services and e-commerce are a benefit.
What you will accomplish :
Drive CN Seller Capital near and long-term product and CX strategy, develop requirements and drive roadmap execution
Communicate business cases, strategy and decisions effectively to senior leadership and cross-functional partners, building alignment and driving shared goals across the teams.
Define ambitious goals to deliver against and meticulously measure against the goals to deliver significant impact to the company.
Discover and address customer pain points across the customer journey via qualitative and quantitative data-driven approaches to validate and identify the customer problem.
Constantly challenge the status quo, leveraging industry trends, market dynamics, and voice of the customer to improve product portfolio (incl.
expansion to new financial products such as insurance) and CX journey.
Negotiate and manage ongoing third party partner relationships.
Exhibit strong bias for action and hold a high bar for quality, continuously optimizing execution and processes.
Anticipate risks, set mitigation strategies, and proactively unblock the roadmap.
What you will bring :
8+ years of experience in product management, with at least 5 years leading cross-functional teams to deliver product and CX feature launches.
Strong track record of developing, launching, and scaling new products and CX experiences.
Effective communication and business proficient written and verbal fluency in Chinese and English to drive partnerships with CN third-party entities, lead CN seller engagement, and deliver with cross-functional central teams.
Proven ability to execute with speed and quality, and establish playbooks to drive operational excellence.
Experience owning and optimizing P&L of programs.
Strong track record of managing third party partner negotiations and relationships.
Experiences in small business financial services and / or e-commerce.
Strong data analysis skills and experience with customer research techniques.
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment in California, Washington, or New York is expected in the range below.
$144,000 - $216,150
Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a target bonus and restricted stock units (as applicable) in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and / or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as PTO and parental leave).
