Long Term Health Care Facility -
Substance Use Disorder (SUD) Program Director
Fulltime : Monday through Friday dayshift hours
Manager on Duty (MOD) rotation on weekend every couple of months (day off given during the week to make up for additional hours)
Requirements :
- COVID Vaccination Required
- A Bachelors degree (Masters preferred) in mental health, counseling, social work, or a related field
- A current professional license in a field related to mental health counseling (LMHC, LCSW / LICSW, LADC) in the state of Massachusetts.
- Previous experience working in addictions.
- Must be able to demonstrate cultural competence.
- Knowledge of Federal, state and local laws governing substance abuse and mental health services.
- Must meet Massachusetts CORI requirement
Job Duties :
- Assure compliance with clinical aspects of contract including utilization and documentation.
- Work with management team and evaluator to formulate, implement and maintain policies and procedures.
- Attend monthly in-service training.
- Assist staff with crisis intervention.
- Commit to the prevision of cultural competent service.
- Responsible for compliance with mandatory reporting laws, mandatory incident reporting and for ensuring ethical practices are followed.
- Perform other related task and duties as assigned.
Qualifications :
- Previous experience working in substance abuse recovery home and / or skilled nursing setting
- License in Social work (LSW, LICSW, LCSW), or LDAC
- Have relationships with mental health / substance abuse providers in greater Boston.
- Ability to motivate staff
