• Location : 117 Luckney Station, Flowood, MS
• Pharmacy Operational Hours : M-F, 8-5

How You’ll Make an Impact :

As a PRN Pharmacist on the Specialty Pharmacy team at Omnicell, you’ll contribute to a community’s well-being, act as a trusted advisor to patients, and ensure pharmacy operations are efficient, effective, and continually improving while being a part of a global organization dedicated to innovation in medication management.

This is an On Call / Back Up for vacation, PTO, Sick or other leave for the PIC / Staff Pharmacists at

• Provide exceptional and personalized patient care and pharmacy counseling services; advise and guide with empathy, confidentiality, and diligence.
• Build effective relationships to ensure accurate and safe dispensing of medication to patients.
• Embrace a deep understanding of pharmacy operations and a drive for continual improvement, learning, and leading to provide the best possible patient care and empower the pharmacy team’s development.
• Stay informed of regulations, retail pharmacy best practices, and knowledge of specialty diseases such as Autoimmune, Oncology, Hepatitis C, HIV, and more.

What You’ll Bring :

Basic Qualifications :

• or BS Pharmacy degree from an accredited college of pharmacy.
• Pharmacist license current and in good standing in the Louisiana.
• A growth mindset and maintain any continuing education requirements.

Preferred Qualifications :

• Minimum of 1 year of working Pharmacist experience (strong preference in retail / outpatient pharmacy)
• Specialty pharmacy
• Prior authorization experience
• Three years (preferred) of experience in the practice of pharmacy
• Experience managing some direct / indirect reports.

Work Environment and Physical Demands :

• This position is moderately active and requires standing, walking, and other movement for the duration of the shift and lifting up to 25 pounds.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear.
• Ability to see distinctions in colors and shapes.
