Senior Software Engineer

As a Digital Payments Sr. Software Engineer, you will be a key member of the Digital Payments engineering team and will be responsible for providing excellent engineering support to the product and business teams.

You will use your .NET / C# experience on API-first and micro frontends to build extensible components for fintech software.

Within this exciting role, you will be responsible for executing rich demos which demonstrate the software that you’ve developed using a modern engineering approach to solving the customer’s issues, executing and managing POCs, and building key relationships across the organization to solve real-world problems in the financial services industry.

Tasks Include :

• Work closely with executive leadership, product managers, and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing SAAS solutions for clients within the financial services industry.
• Develop and coordinate estimates for software defects, new features, and enhancements that are included in service releases.
• Participate in discussions regarding new product development and product enhancements.
• Design, document, code, and deploy new features and defects for system-related issues (including the creation of T-SQL queries, web services, client-side JavaScript including jQuery, and .NET development).
• Participate in high-level estimates for proposed projects, poker planning for future features, and task estimates for software defects and features at sprint planning.

Basic Qualifications :

Education and Experience : Bachelors and 3 years or HS / GED and 7 years.

Preferred Qualifications :

Education : Bachelors in Computer Science or related field.

Experience : 8 years in full cycle design development, or .NET solutions.

• Agile engineering experience.
• C# / .NET experience.
• AWS Cloud Practitioner certification or similar.
• Familiarity with Generative AI and LLM.
• React framework experience.
• API development.

Additional Basic Qualifications :

Must be 18 years of age or older.
