The Quality Engineer supports efforts and plans to coordinates the quality control program designed to ensure continuous production consistent with established standards for Colson Group worldwide.

Primary Responsibilities : Support One Colson quality and continuous improvement strategies, programs and procedures. Assists the Plant Manager in any and all Quality related issues or concerns.
Drive Statistical Process Control (SPC) methods for analyzing production data Maintain the CPAR quality reporting process and related follow through.
Implement continuous improvement activities identified by Director of Quality as related to product quality. Maintains quality control objectives, and coordinates objectives with production procedures in order to maximize quality, reliability and minimize costs.
Conduct production training activities related to production product quality. Strong Feasibility and Factory Acceptance Testing for new launch projects.
Collaborates with Engineering, Operations, and ISCs on daily basis for project planning and resolution of production complaint cases.
Product Quality liaison providing technical concept and solutions to customers regarding incoming production processes. Follow directive from Director of Quality for Quality Assurance systems to ensure compliance with standards of ISO9001 : 2015 and associated testing standards.
Ensure the Production process quality related product risks are adequately controlled in accordance with internal requirements and customer expectations.
Acting as the main point of contact for product quality escalations internally and externally. Follow directives for maintaining and improving departmental operational performance to meet the requirements of regulatory authorities, company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), external / internal customers, with respect to quality, service, lead time and cost.
Development of departmental SOPs (writing, revising and approving), ensuring regulatory compliance in conjunction with being fit for purpose operationally and commercially.
Perform activities in accordance with Colson company SOPs and Health and Safety policies. Support internal audit programs in place, perform and report as scheduled.
Support Part Submission Warrants and customer respective forms for Advance Product Quality Planning Supporting all validation activities, including validation strategy and approval of protocols and reports.
Providing support and awareness of new quality legislation and testing that impacts the business. Supervising Quality Technicians and Inspectors
