JOB SUMMARY : The Shipping and Receiving Clerk at New World Medical will manage all shipping and receiving responsibilities for Commercial operations, with additional support for warehouse activities.

This role focuses on processing domestic and international sales orders, maintaining inventory oversight, and closely collaborating with the Customer Service team to ensure efficient order fulfillment and high customer satisfaction.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

  • Process incoming and outgoing shipments related to Commercial sales, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
  • Work closely with the Customer Service team to ensure timely processing of shipments, based on priority.
  • Prepare orders for shipment by pulling inventory, packing securely, and coordinating with carriers for timely delivery.
  • Generate packing slips and labels.
  • Utilize domestic and international shipping platforms like FedEx, UPS, and DHL.
  • Receive returned products and process according to company procedures.
  • Collaborate with Customer Service to ensure accurate processing of shipping documentation.
  • Load and unload delivery trucks using appropriate equipment and techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with freight carriers.
  • Maintain optimal levels of shipping supplies and replenish inventory as needed.
  • Organize and restock the shipping warehouse to standard levels.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES :

  • Detail oriented, excellent listening skills, patience and ability to handle a fast-paced environment.
  • Must be able to set priorities and manage time effectively.
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office (e.g., Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF effectively
  • Knowledgeable in CRM software (e.g., SAP) preferred

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :

  • Minimum of High School Diploma
  • 2+ years of warehouse experience

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS :

  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50% of the time.
  • Occasionally move about inside the office and travel to and from office buildings to access file cabinets, employee offices, office machinery, etc.

This may include, but is not limited to, bending and walking.

  • Must be able to operate a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a computer printer, computer keyboard, calculator, etc.
  • Ability to listen and speak with employees and vendors. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
  • Occasionally lift up to 25-50 pounds and transport to other offices. This may be performed with reasonable accommodation.
  • View and type on computer screens for long periods of time.

Compensation details : 19.66-19.66 Hourly Wage
