Key Responsibilities :
- Monitor and assess cardiac telemetry patients by interpreting ECGs, recognizing arrhythmias, and responding to cardiac emergencies.
- Deliver comprehensive patient care by developing, implementing, evaluating, and revising individualized care plans.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure continuity and quality of care, with a focus on patient safety and recovery.
- Provide patient and family education regarding heart health, medications, and recovery processes.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records to ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Stay current with best practices and technology related to cardiac telemetry through ongoing education and training .
Required Qualifications :
- Education : Graduation from an accredited nursing program.
- Licensure : Current Montana Registered Nurse License upon hire.
- Certifications :
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification from the American Heart Association within 90 days of hire.
- Experience : Minimum of 1 year of nursing experience, preferably in a cardiac telemetry or critical care setting.
