Who will you be working with?
Wabtec Corporation’s Financial Management Systems (FMS) is a pioneering force within the rail industry, specializing in developing and providing innovative customer experience solutions.
Our team combines in-depth knowledge of financial systems and processes with extensive expertise in the Interline Settlement System (ISS), Junction Settlement (JS), Revenue Management System (RMS), and Advanced Analytics (AA).
Committed to delivering exceptional support and managed services for our digital platform FMS products, we offer a unique opportunity to be part of a dynamic team that engages daily with customers to address challenges and collaborates with stakeholders to enhance and support customer operations.
Essential Responsibilities :
Provide comprehensive support for RMS, JS, ISS, and AA to a diverse client base, including engineers, distributors, railroad operation centers, rail shippers, third-party logistic companies, and end users.
This involves combining technical troubleshooting skills and superior customer service capabilities.
- Facilitate client training on RailConnect products, tailoring sessions to client needs and enhancing their understanding of product features and functionalities.
- Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure timely and effective solutions and support.
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to represent and advocate for customer needs, contributing significantly to continuous product improvement and development.

Deliver RMS Managed Services
RMS Managed Service (RMS-MS) is a service provided by Wabtec to manage interline accounting or junction settlement for your business.
Wabtec will apply contract rates to waybills, manage interline and junction settlements, audit revenue, reconcile interline accounts, optimize and maintain RMS master files, and provide month-end accounting entries and reporting.
Scope of Services Tasks may include the following :
- Maintaining Interline Rates
- Optimizing all ISS - related master files
- Applying rates to all ISS and JS waybills
- Preparing freight bills
- Processing and managing all daily ISS messages
- Reconciling Interline and Junction Settlements
- Auditing TMS move events for missed revenue
- Analyzing rated waybills for duplicates
- Posting payments for JS into the CASH System.
- Month-end closing for interline revenue and junction settlements
- Notification of actual and estimated funds transfer
- Assisting with auditing and issuing claims for ISS and JS
- Providing monthly interline journal entries and reconciliations
- Delivering month-end revenue reporting
- Communicating new traffic lanes, expired rates, and needed rates
- Downloading rates from RENWEB
- Providing support for questions regarding rates, settlements, accounting, and freight billing
Desired Characteristics :
- Profound knowledge of the Interline Settlement System, Junction Settlement, Revenue Management System, CASH System, and Advanced Analytics.
- Demonstrated ability to manage and execute multiple priorities and strategies to effectively meet customer needs and achieve team objectives.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Outstanding customer service, situational awareness, time management, and organizational skills.

- A solid accounting foundation is crucial.
Required Experience and Qualifications :
- BA / BS degree in business or technical discipline, a relevant two-year diploma, or substantial customer support experience in a related field with significant expertise.
- A minimum of 5 years relevant work experience
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in the railroad or shipping sector
- Familiarity with Salesforce is an advantage.
