$95,971.00 - $143,936.00
Overlake is searching for a skilled HR professional to provide strategic HR consultation and ongoing support to leaders and employees in assigned clinical and non-clinical hospital departments.
If selected, you'll work closely with a team of HR Business Partners and our HR Director.
Your key priorities will include :
- Coaching leaders on hiring, performance management, team building, change management and compliance issues
- Providing consultation on matters related to our nursing union contract
- Providing meaningful insights and recommendations based on HR trends
- Evaluating requests for reasonable accommodations
- Resolving employee concerns including formal grievances
- Leading employee investigations
- Participating on the bargaining team during labor negotiations
Qualifications :
While healthcare experience is not required, our ideal candidate will combine a strong labor relations background with deep legal expertise.
At least three years of progressively responsible experience as an HR Business Partner, employee and / or labor relations generalist or other role demonstrating a solid understanding of HR fundamentals is required.
- Bachelor’s degree required. Master’s degree or JD preferred.
- SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR or SPHR certification preferred.
- Experience in a unionized healthcare setting is preferred.
- Advanced HR system experience preferred (Dimensions / Kronos and / or Workday experience a plus)
- Proven ability to gather, synthesize, analyze and report employee data.
