Looking for an IBM Z-Storage Administrator
Location : Chicago, Buffalo, Jersey City, NY
Required :
- 8-12 years of relevant work experience.
- Hands-on experience in a GDPS, Global Mirror, Metro Mirror, and HiperSwap environment.
- Thorough knowledge and expertise with HCD in a large scale enterprise environment with numerous CECs across multiple locations
- Knowledge of Brocade SAN equipment and associated management tools (Brocade Network Advisor)
- Experience installing and configuring IBM Mainframes, Virtual Tape systems, and DS8000 DASD.
- Knowledge of dataset structures. (PDS, PDSE, GDG, VSAM, etc.)
- Experience Administering DFSMS policies and constructs
- Knowledge and experience with IBM Flashcopy process
- Knowledge of FDR / ABR and DFDSS
- Experience with CA1 Tape Management Software
- Experience with TDMF
- Coding Languages : Assembler, Automation, GDPS, Rexx and CLIST skills
- Proficiency in Security software tools : RACF and ACF2 and performance monitoring using Omegamon, RMF, SMF and SAS.
