About the job :

Duties you will own in this role :

• Triage incoming patients
• Monitor critical and fractious patients
• Administer treatments and medications
• Assist with diagnostic tests
• Aid in emergency procedures
• Ensure patient comfort
• Communicate with pet owners
• Maintain equipment and supplies
• Document patient care
• Engage in ongoing education and training

Compensation Range for this role is based on location, skill, and education RVT : $25.00 - $40.00 with $8,000 Sign-On Bonus for new full-time employees

SVA : $25.00 - $36.00 with $6,000 Sign-On Bonus for new full-time employees

Work Schedule :

• Various shifts available- days, swings, overnights . $5 differential for overnight shifts
• Full-Time
• 4 / 10 schedule

Basic Required Qualifications :

• High school diploma
• 3+ years of clinical experience in the veterinary industry
• Consistent and reliable ability to perform mathematical calculations for drug doses, CRIs, client invoices and estimates, and other position-related calculations
• Maintain the California Veterinary Assistant Controlled Substance Permit (VACSP); must obtain within 60-days of hire or transfer into this role;

this requirement is waived if incumbent holds a valid CA-RVT license)

CA RVT license preferred but not required
