Refrigeration Technician (HVAC)

• Key Responsibilities : Perform installation & alteration of refrigeration systems & related equipment & facilities; Troubleshoot & repair all mechanical & electrical equipment;
• Assist in the Preventative Maintenance Program using work orders issued by Supervision and documenting work performed on equipment to maintain in operation;
• Adjustments of equipment in a Safe Manner as needed during production; Familiar with start-up and shut down processes in production plants;
• Ability to use lockout / tag-out process to isolate equipment prior to working on the unit; Ability to troubleshoot electrical components with the meter when equipment is down;

Establish a schedule for the replacement of parts without disrupting process unless repair cannot be performed safely; Other duties as assigned.

Experience : Ammonia refrigeration experience or refrigeration experience; Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills;

The ability to perform in a fast-paced environment; Experience with air compressors and associated control systems; Good communication skills to ensure timely repairs of equipment and issues that arise

Requirements :

• Residential or Commercial HVAC Service Technician Experience
• Vaild Journeyman License or Ticket
• Class B Gas Ticket
• High School Diploma or greater.
• Valid Drivers License and clean driving record
• Must have strong skillset of commercial HVAC products, installation, and mechanical understanding
• Strong understanding of HVAC functions, ductwork modifications and design
• Great communication skills with both clients, coworkers, and project managers.
• Strong leadership skills and work ethic is a must!
• Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on detailed work
• Must have stable background / work history to be considered for this position
