A third facility is now being converted from PV only to a hybrid storage facility. Additional energy storage systems for B2U’s own portfolio and for customers are in development.

Job Description and Responsibilities
B2U is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to report to the Vice President of Engineering. This role will involve overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of various engineering projects with a focus on grid connected Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS).
Key responsibilities include :
- Coordinate engineering activities for BESS project deployments, collaborate with the engineering team, external consultants, and the operations team.
- Work closely with the VP of Engineering and senior management to prioritize and implement key initiatives from the product development roadmap.
- Oversee the development and execution of processes and procedures related to assembly, construction, and operations to ensure the highest safety and quality standards.
- Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to meet deadlines and control costs, while mitigating risks.
- Provide technical oversight and guidance to ensure projects meet technical and regulatory requirements.
- Lead cross-functional teams to resolve technical challenges, and integrate new technologies in ongoing and upcoming projects.
Skills and Experience
- Strong leadership, management, and communication skills, with a proven ability to inspire and guide project teams.
- Expertise in project management, including cost control, schedule development, and risk management.
- Highly motivated, detail-oriented self-starter with a strong process focus, thriving in an innovative and entrepreneurial environment.
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects and deliverables within constraints.
- Minimum of seven (7) years of engineering experience, with at least five (5) years in a management role.
- At least five (5) years of experience in the BESS or power generation industry.
