Staffmark is seeking a Facilities Engineer to play a vital role in the safe and efficient manufacturing processes at our Easton, PA location.
This direct hire position requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering to help maintain critical infrastructure that supports operations.
The role offers in-house expertise to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
Pay : $105,000 - $125,000
Schedule : Monday - Friday, 8 : 00 AM - 5 : 00 PM
In this role, you will maintain and oversee mechanical systems such as chillers, cooling towers, pumps, air compressors, and boilers.
You'll adapt to a complex environment while collaborating with multiple departments to provide engineering support for manufacturing assets.
You will design mechanical components and systems, creating 3D drawings and adhering to industry standards, as well as size piping systems with material selection and process flow diagrams.
Additionally, you'll lead cross-functional teams to diagnose manufacturing issues, manage capital projects, conduct design reviews, and provide on-site support during emergency maintenance events, available 24 / 7.
Job Specifications :
- Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited program.
- Five or more years of technical support experience in a manufacturing or facility environment.
- Expert knowledge in heat transfer, fluid mechanics, strength of materials, and related areas.
- Proficient in 3D solid modeling software for design and drafting.
- Experience with structured problem-solving methods; Six Sigma or Lean experience preferred.
- Familiarity with industrial trades and practices, including HVAC and machining.
- Knowledge of manufacturing codes and standards.
- Strong writing and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate effectively across all levels.
- Ability to sit, talk, hear, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Reasonable accommodations are available.
