KORE1, a nationwide provider of staffing and recruiting solutions, has an immediate opening for Packing Assistant. Summary : Responsible for overseeing the timely and accurate closing Routers in the ERP system, data entry to logbooks and prepping materials and containers for packing.
Work as a team member and adhering to all rules, policies and SOP's while striving to improve functions throughout the department.
Cross training is a must within all areas of the department. Prepping : -Routers and Labels Verification-Materials, Containers, PPE and Utensils preparation-Labeling containers-Replenish Supply items-Inventory Stock checks -Data capturing for metrics-Keep the area clean, per CGMP requirements Computer activities : -Update workbooks-Complete and Close routers in Oracle-Create Packing Instructions-Change Locations-Change Statuses-Run Reports-Support our NJ team when help is neededRequired Skills / Abilities : -Strong attention to details-Must have computer skills and utilize handheld devices -Must be team player as department works together as one team-Excellent time management, organization and follow up skills-Ability to prioritize tasks, be flexible and meet deadlines-Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment-Must be able to provide help throughout the Department where permitted.
Must be flexible on work schedule if over time is required Language Skills : Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Fluent in English - written and oral skills required. Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs. Reasoning Ability : Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations and solve them. Education and / or Experience : -High School diploma or equivalent, college degree preferred-1- 2 years related experience or training preferred -Previous Experience and / or permit for operation of forklifts preferred-Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite preferred-Experience with Oracle is highly preferred Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Computer certificate is a plus.
