Registered Dietitian The Registered Dietitian at Middleton Family Medicine provides complete Medical Nutrition Therapy assessments on patients’ with specific nutrition related diagnoses.

The Nutrition Care Process is followed with appropriate documentation in Athena, Middleton Family Medicine EMR system. Anthropometric evaluation included in assessment(s).

Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT) is provided in group, individual and virtual settings. Key Responsibilities : Medical Nutrition Therapy : Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments for patients with endocrine disorders.

Records nutritional information in patients’ charts. Develop and implement personalized nutrition care plans. Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of nutrition interventions and adjust plans as needed.

Patient Education : Provide nutrition education to patients and their families on managing endocrine-related conditions through diet.

Provides weight management, diabetes and diabetes prevention group class. Educate patients on topics such as carbohydrate counting, meal planning, and healthy eating behaviors.

Work with the Endocrine Department in developing, updating and creating educational materials for endocrinology patients.

Collaboration : Work closely with our endocrinologists and other healthcare professionals within the department to coordinate care.

Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care plans and outcomes. Community Outreach : Engage in community outreach programs to provide education and support related to endocrine health.

Conduct workshops and seminars for patients, caregivers, and healthcare providers. Quality Improvement and Research : Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of nutrition care.

Research the effects of nutrition on health and fitness. Contribute to research projects and apply for grant support to fund nutrition-related programs and studies.

Qualifications : Completion of Bachelor's Degree Program in Food and Nutrition with Completion of Dietetic Internship from accredited program by the Accreditation Council for Education in Nutrition and Dietetics (ACEND) Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential.

State licensure as a dietitian, Massachusetts. Experience in Group Education Required. Weight Management Counseling Experience and GLP-1 experience.

Experience in Virtual Nutrition Education Setting. Skills and Competencies : 70K-75K Strong knowledge of endocrine disorders and their nutritional management.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team. Proficiency in creating and delivering educational presentations.

Commitment to patient-centered care and continuous improvement. Compensation : Work Schedule : Full-time position available.
