Overview :
The Quality Assurance Specialist I plays a critical role in ensuring the quality and compliance of products and processes within the organization.
This role is responsible for monitoring and evaluating quality assurance standards, conducting audits, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing corrective actions to prevent defects and enhance efficiency.
Key Responsibilities :
- Perform quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards
- Conduct audits and inspections to identify non-conformities and areas for improvement
- Develop and implement quality control procedures and guidelines
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues and drive process improvements
- Collect and analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for quality enhancements
- Assist in the development and review of quality documentation and reports
- Participate in the investigation and resolution of quality-related issues and customer complaints
- Conduct internal and external quality training and awareness programs
- Support regulatory inspections and customer audits
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality and operational efficiency
Required Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience in quality assurance or a related field
- Strong understanding of quality standards and regulatory requirements
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively with diverse teams
- Experience with process improvement methodologies such as Six Sigma or Lean
- Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and precision
- Proficiency in quality management systems and tools
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
