Responsibilities

What You'll Do At Gaudenzia

  • To evaluate, treat, and diagnose clients who have a mental health disorder or dually-diagnosed
  • Schedule or assist with the scheduling of clinical and / or support staff to ensure adequate coverage during all shifts.
  • Continue special training in areas designated by the Supervisor.
  • Keep records such as bio-psycho-history & assessments, evaluations and keep client case records current according to the established guidelines.
  • Attend, participate, and when necessary, facilitate special events, such as retreats, trips, workshops, etc.
  • Be a role model for pro-social behaviors.
  • Be available for weekend and / or evening duty.
  • Be responsible for a full client caseload and act as a lead counselor.
  • Attend all staff meetings and attend functions and / or meetings when the Supervisor is not available.
  • Support and demonstrate adherence to Gaudenzia’s Code of Ethics, Code of Conduct and all personnel policies and procedures.
  • Be responsible for re-entry residents or others needing advanced care.
  • Maintain a valid driver’s license and appropriate professional certificates and credentials.
  • Be responsible for orientation of new staff members when the Supervisor is not available.
  • Moderate special groups such as marathons, extended groups, family meetings, workshops or presentations.
  • All other duties as described in the Unit Unique Job Description or as assigned by the Supervisor.

Must possess a Master’s Degree and an independent license to practice such as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC

Maryland Education / Licensure Requirements :

Must possess a Master’s Degree and independent license to practice such as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LGADC, LGPC, LCADC, and / or LCPC.

Pennsylvania Education / Licensure Requirements :

Must possess a Master’s Degree and an independent license to practice such as an LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LCADC
