You will work alongside other team members to safely & efficiently batch products according to written procedures and customer formulas to produce quality popular beverage products for the consumer.
Temp-to-Hire
Shift : 1st shift - 6 : 45 AM - 6 : 45 PM
Rotating Schedule
Pay rate : $16.00 / hr
Requirements :
- High School diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and / or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Basic knowledge of weight and measures
- Basic math skills
- Must report to work on time and have good attendance
- Flexibility to assist where needed
- Must be able to stand for long periods
- Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 55 lbs frequently
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
Essential duties and responsibilities :
- Mix formulas according to written procedures
- Follow directions of blending leadership about the batching schedule, housekeeping items, and additional duties / tasks
- Weigh the "partial ingredients" label appropriately, and reseal with tamper evident tape
- Clean and sanitize various pieces of equipment
- Before beginning each batch, verify ingredients for correct quantities, item numbers, expiration dates, quality, etc.
- Complete required documentation, including but not limited to, Batch Sheets, Blending Instructions, Master Sanitation Schedule, Trailer Transfer sheets
- Maintain traceability and inventory integrity by allocating the ingredients used in each batch using Data Collection programs
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Complete tasks listed on the Master Sanitation Schedule at least at the minimum required frequencies
- Interact with auditors, customers, and government officials in a professional and polite manner
- Knowledge of and adherence to Good Manufacturing Processes
- Properly dispose of ingredient packaging materials
- Break down and re-build ingredient kits to accommodate last-minute changes
- Participate in the batch approval process, assist in root cause analysis of out-of-spec batches
- Other duties may be assigned
