Job Posting : Call Center / Customer Service - Customer Service Rep 1

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

  • Serve as the primary resource for inbound telephone calls, addressing nonclinical customer inquiries such as prescription status or financial information to minimize workflow interruptions.
  • Manage inbound and outbound calls to facilitate medication delivery and payment scheduling, ensuring accurate information for timely distribution.
  • Directly respond to customer inquiries or route calls to appropriate staff for prompt resolution and customer satisfaction.
  • Update concise progress notes to facilitate workflow assessment by other team members.
  • Provide customer service using management information systems, addressing refill needs, prescription status, insurance verification, and invoice requests.
  • Assist patients during refill scheduling, transferring relevant concerns to the clinical team when necessary.
  • Identify and report adverse events and product complaints to clinicians to ensure patient safety.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, tailored to specific team or program requirements.

Additional Skills & Qualifications :

  • High School Diploma or GED required; Associate degree preferred.
  • Technical or medical background with knowledge of medical terminology preferred.
  • Experience using management information systems to address customer needs effectively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional telephone manner.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Customer service experience preferred.

Physical Requirements :

  • Professional office environment.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, sit, and reach outward frequently.
  • Ability to push / pull up to 15lbs and lift / carry up to 15lbs.
