A leading acute care hospital located in southern Florida is now seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer to join their award-winning healthcare organization.
This full-service acute care facility is home to more than 200 inpatient beds and offers a variety of medical and surgical services, including a separate 70-beds for critical and emergency care.
This facility also offers other services including behavioral health, maternal fetal medicine, pediatrics, cardiovascular, laboratory and imaging, and rehabilitative services.
This location is also proud to be a designated LEED Gold Certified hospital and features energy-efficient initiatives and recycled materials throughout.
Under limited supervision, the Cardiac Sonographer will accurately perform various echocardiography procedures in an inpatient setting.
Other responsibilities include understanding all aspects of cardiac disease, monitoring laboratory equipment, collaborating with multidisciplinary care teams, helping to educate patients and families, and ensuring compliance with all state and federal regulatory standards.
What’s Needed to Succeed :
- ARDMS or CCI Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer
- Graduate from an accredited allied health or related program
- Prior working experience is a plus!
