Solar Site Supervisor

Job Overview : We’re looking for an onsite supervisor to lead and oversee our residential solar installation teams and subcontractors.
This person will be responsible for site safety, adherence to company policies, installation quality and procedures while ensuring proper permitting and ratios are adhered to.
The ideal candidate will have experience in residential solar installation, construction job site supervision and leading a team.
Duties and Responsibilities :
- Work alongside team members to ensure panels and parts are installed to company specified parameters.
- Review plan specifications and work order requirements to ensure directives are being followed.
- Review the order of operations, part orders and inventory to ensure all material is present and accounted for to complete the job on-time.
- Check tools to ensure they’re in proper order, not missing and meet requirements for the install.
- Track installation progress and communicate updates to homeowners and company leadership. Document all communications in internal PM software.
Document all project updates in internal PM software.
- Coordinate necessary clean up, ensuring homes are left as they were found, if not better.
- Coordinate with subcontractors on schedules, timeline, availability.
- Coordinate with Scheduling Team for projects for the week, including route, crews, clean up and inventory.
- Review, approve or deny and submit time stamps for subcontractors and crews per job and document.
- Rent equipment as necessary.
- Review all driving mileage logs and maintenance logs for vehicles and help arrange required maintenance.
Qualifications :
- Three (3) plus years of experience within solar industry or related experience.
- Three (3) plus years of experience in construction management.
- Construction Management Certificate or Project Management (PMP) certification a plus but not required.
- Associates degree from an accredited college or university or equivalent work experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong English reading, writing and verbal communication skills.
Requirements :
- Valid driver’s license and clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.
- Proficient in Microsoft Suite and Outlook.
Physical Demands :
- Ability to work on rooftops with various angles and surfaces which requires frequent bending, twisting, squatting, climbing, kneeling, crawling, turning, standing and balance.
- Ability to climb ladders.
- Ability to work in outdoor weather conditions including but not limited to : excessive noise, extreme cold, extreme heat, wet environments.
- Ability to work within the safe range of equipment such as ladders, fall protection harnesses and other personal protective equipment.
- Ability to work in the sun and possibly low light conditions.
- Ability to walk on rafters, roof tiles, roof shingles etc.
- Ability to work in confined spaces such as basements, attics, crawl spaces requiring kneeling and crouching for prolonged periods of time.
- Ability to hear verbal commands and warnings.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Schedule : Day, Monday-Friday, weekends and overtime as needed.
Salary : $70,000- $90,000.00 annually depending on experience (DOE)
Location : Denver, CO and surrounding area.
