Great Basin Staffing is seeking a motivated and skilled Apprentice Electrician to join our team in Ogden, UT . This is a full-time position with an immediate start available.

Position Highlights :

• Role : Apprentice Electrician
• Location : Ogden, UT
• Compensation : $18 - $28 per hour, based on experience
• Job Type : Full-time, Immediate Start

Key Responsibilities :

• Install aerial lighting, run conduit, and pull wire as directed.
• Work under the supervision and direction of a Journeyman Electrician to complete electrical installations.
• Install and troubleshoot low voltage and high voltage electrical systems.
• Safely use power tools and hand tools to execute electrical projects.
• Test and ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems using various testing devices.
• Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions or equipment failures.
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget.
• Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines at all times.

Qualifications / Skills :

• Experience : Minimum of 2 years as an apprentice electrician with experience in electrical installations and troubleshooting.
• Licensing : Active UT Apprentice license or a reciprocal license from another state.
• Technical Skills : Proficiency in using power tools and hand tools for electrical work.
• Code Knowledge : Solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and ability to follow it in all projects.
• Detail-Oriented : Strong attention to detail and ability to work precisely.
• Communication : Effective communication skills for working with a team.

Additional Requirements :

• Education : High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Physical Requirements : Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
