The Systems Analyst performs operational processes, analysis, and troubleshooting that supports the Student Financials Services (SFS) department.

This role prepares documentation of both business and technical, as well as processes and procedures that are required to properly maintain systems that support SFS.

This position develops specifications and requirements for system configuration, testing of new applications, upgrades, or new functionalities, and provides feedback and documentation of results.

Additionally, it performs analyses of system setup and processes, and conducts system and end-user testing to ensure accuracy and data integrity.

This position also consults with management on complex technical issues, new technologies, campus and department technical initiatives, integrations, and performs system training to SFS end-user functions and processes.

This position will be service-oriented, building rapport with both internal and external customers.

Position Summary

Systems Analyst (Information Technology Consultant - Career)

This is a full-time, exempt position, which will lead toward permanent status following the successful completion of a probationary period.

This position is eligible for a broad range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurances, retirement (CalPERS), tuition waiver, vacation and sick leave.

In addition, 14 paid holidays are offered each year; 13 scheduled on specific days and a Personal Holiday that may be taken any time during the year.

Anticipated Hiring Salary Range : $6,500 - $8,426 per month

CSU Classification Salary Range : $5,158 - $12,730 per month
