The Main Responsibilities

Lumen’s Enterprise Operations organization is looking for a Project Manager Intern on our Custom PMO team. The intern will be responsible for coordinating various assigned project activities that may include gathering and reviewing a variety of data using company resources, compiling and formatting data to a finished product, and getting necessary approvals to meet required management timelines.

Other responsibilities of intern will include :

• Support project-based work across various customers, focusing on custom networks and hyperscaler customers
• Act as a conduit between customer-facing teams and the larger custom networks organization for delivery
• Manage project management opportunities around reporting, overlap, and ad hoc tasks as they arise
• Engage with every aspect of the business, including sales, design, installation, and construction

What We Look For in a Candidate

Program eligibility is contingent on the candidate’s commitment of the entire 10-week program. No exceptions will be made.

Required qualifications

• Enrolled at a 4-year accredited college or university, rising senior level education status at the start of the internship
• Graduating August 2025 May 2026
• Preferred fields include but not limited to : Business Administration, MIS, Finance
• Intern must be able to work 40 hours per week during the 10-week program (May 30 August 8, 2025)

Proficiency and understanding of :

MS office Suite

Preferred qualifications

• Background in business administration, management, finance, economics, or related fields with some analytics or technical skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently and take initiative on projects
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build relationships with internal teams
• Organizational skills and a sense of urgency in task completion
• Curiosity and the willingness to engage in thought-provoking work

Compensation

Internship compensation ranges depend on each individual’s level of education, geographic location, and experience / qualifications aligned to the role.

Hourly Based Pay Range :

Min : $22.00 / hour Max : $35.00 / hour

What to Expect Next

Salary Max : 35

This information reflects the anticipated base salary range for this position based on current national data. Minimums and maximums may vary based on location.

Individual pay is based on skills, experience and other relevant factors.

This position is eligible for either short-term incentives or sales compensation. Director and VP positions also are eligible for long-term incentive.
